About us
The "Strengthening Civil Society Engagement for a Just and Sustainable Urbanization (SCEJU)" project, led by a consortium of partners, seeks to empower these urban invisibles—youth, women, persons with disabilities, children, elderly, and the urban poor—by enhancing their capacity to engage in and influence urbanization plans, policies, and programs.
A pivotal component of this project is the development of an e-learning course that will equip 15 trainers, who will then train 3,000 youth from Nairobi, Kisumu, and Makueni, with the skills necessary to advocate for sustainable water and waste management practices through digital platforms.
Water scarcity and waste mismanagement are urgent global challenges, and Kenya is no exception. Our program is designed to equip youth from urban and rural areas with the knowledge and tools they need to make an impact.
